Notes:  

1.   Registration will start on the 1st of December 2009 and will end when the nominated places are consecutively occupied for full program (first come, first served basis).

2.   Submitted abstracts must be accompanied by registration fees.

3.   On disk payment will not be permitted for logistic reasons.

4.   There are, as is perhaps obvious, only a limited number of places available this time for full program; 48 to be exact, including 5 places for the organizing team.

5.   Single room accommodation costs for 7  nights costs an extra 140 € or 50 € for 3 nights for non Egyptian participants  or L.E.1000 and L.E.400 for Egyptian participants.

Full program registration fees include:

1.   Attendance to all  meeting sessions and all  symposium materials.

2.    Full program  registration fees include full accommodation for 8 days / 7 nights:

3. Two days excursion along the Red Sea coastline between  Hurghada, El Quseir and  south of Marsa Alam (Wadi El Gemal protected area)  by air conditioned coach for all participants.

4.     One day excursion for cross section of The Eastern Egyptian desert by air conditioned coach.   

5.     Daily field visits to desert, coastal and river landscapes.

6.    Transportation and entrance fees for historical sites, museums and protected areas.

7.     The end of the meeting will be at Luxor city on Monday, 1st of November.

 

First half program registration fees include:

1.Attendance to three meeting sessions and all  symposium materials.

2.First half program registration fees include full accommodation for 4days/3 nights (start from Hurghada to Aswan):

3.     One day excursion for cross section of The Eastern Egyptian desert by air conditioned coach.   

4.     Daily field visits to coastal  landscapes.

5.    Transportation and entrance fees for historical sites and protected areas.

6.     The end of the half program will be in Aswan city on Thursday, 28th of October.

Registration fees do not include:

1.   International or domestic flights to the symposium starting  point at Hurghada and from its ending points in Aswan (for half program) or Luxor (for full program).

2.   Visa entry for Egypt.

3.   Medical and travel insurance.

4.   Any other items not mentioned above.

Cancellation and Refunds:
Request for refunds will be honored only until May 30, 2010 but will be subject to an unrefundable processing fee of 100 € and after this date refunds will not be  allowed.
 

Grants:

  1. Ten available bursaries cover 50% of the non Egyptian participants registration fees for promised postgraduate students and young researches, who submit their abstracts.

  2. Forty available bursaries for young Egyptian researchers for attending one day at Hurghada city  including travel by bus Cairo/Hurghada/Cairo, one night accommodation at Hurghada, one lunch and and all symposium materials:  L.E. 100 for students or LE 150 for Post-Doctoral Delegates.
